The UVM Medical Center, in partnership with The Vermont Early Hearing Detection & Intervention Program (VTEHDI), is currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct care to children in educational settings. This position is in person in the Rivendell Interstate School District.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Evaluation and treatment in the areas of communication, cognition and swallowing.

  • Teaching and working closely with families, case managers and providers for continued care after evaluation.

  • Demonstrating dedication to professional growth and development and to the continuous improvement of care.

  • Working within a cooperative team model of care

  • Supporting other SLPs by sharing caseloads and assisting colleagues as the need arises.

EDUCATION:

  • Master's Degree from an Accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence for Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or current eligibility to obtain this certification, is required.

EXPERIENCE:

Prior experience with children in a home, school or medical setting strongly preferred.
