Job description Overview: The Production Associate is responsible for assisting with maintaining production needs in the manufacturing plant. The associate may be assigned to numerous roles in the facility including physical assembly of gearboxes, and picking and pulling material for assembly builders and/or various Quality Inspection duties. The associate must work in team environment and be a self-motivator with high integrity and meet required Quality standards in production. The associate must be diligent with filling out clear and concise information on paperwork and Quality records. The associate may be assigned to cleaning and preparation of units for painting. Responsibilities: Operate, maintain and clean manufacturing machinery and equipment Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical failures Complete work orders and requests in a timely fashion Perform routine preventative maintenance Adhere to safety policies and procedures Qualifications: Previous experience in production, manufacturing or other related fields Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings and blueprints General mechanical aptitude with hand and power tool use knowledge Familiarity with manufacturing machinery and material handling equipment Ability to handle physical workload Education/Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D Basic reading, writing and math skills Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment Highly motivated & energetic with a strong work ethic Basic knowledge and use of computers Ability to handle and lift 50 pounds maximum; bending and stretching Demonstrated ability to prioritize work load and meet multiple deadlines Ability to work in a team environment Good verbal communication skills Good decision making Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) matching, Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, Paid time off, Referral program, Vision insuranceBenefits: 401(k) matching, Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, Paid time off, Referral program, Vision insuranceQualifications
