Job DetailsJob Location: 286 - 16TH STREET - BURLINGTON, CO 80807Salary Range: $17.89 - $27.06 Hourly Performs any combination of following duties under direction of physician to assist in examination and treatment of patients:  Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients’ charts.  Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.  Provides basic care to patients under the direct supervision of the Specialty Clinic doctors. Performs any combination of the following duties under the direct supervision of the Specialty Clinic Coordinator:  Schedules and confirms appointments for patients with all Specialty Clinic physicians, checks patients out of the Specialty Clinic upon completion of their appointments, including scheduling follow-up visits when necessary, communicates information about schedule changes with all necessary staff members, updates patient status in scheduling tool, and performs various other administrative duties as requested.  Performs all duties of specialty clinic scheduling, deposit collection and reconciliation for all specialty clinic physicians, verification of accuracy of face sheets/consent forms, administrative preparation for all specialty clinics, including but not limited to, faxing schedules to physicians home offices, making up patient charts, pulling and filing patient charts, and other miscellaneous filing. QualificationsGraduate from accredited school for Medical Assistant preferred.  High School diploma and/or equivalent.  Previous clinical experience in assigned areas. Current BLS (CPR) Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Strong written and verbal skills. Basic computer knowledge.  Strong organizational skills and ability to make decisions.  Ability to be flexible to accommodate Physicians schedule changes.
