Select when you're available to work, balancing your professional life with personal commitments. This is ideal for those seeking intermittent work without the constraints of a fixed schedule.

  • Travel Assignments for Distant Applicants: For Ultrasound Techs living beyond the 50-mile radius from West Burlington, Iowa, the Right Choice IRP presents exciting travel assignments across Great River Health facilities. This is a perfect opportunity for those looking to explore new environments within the same health system with assignments available at our Great River Health hospitals and long term care facilities.​

Commitment Level 1: $50/hour

  • Required to take shifts at any of our three campuses

  • Minimum of 24 hours in a 6-week scheduling period

  • Additional $5 an hour if you work a LTA of 6 weeks or longer

We ask that you select one Summer and one Winter hard to fill shift as part of your commitment. You can select the hard to fill day and shift time that suits your availability, and you can adjust this as you see fit annually.

Commitment Level 2: $70/hour

  • Required to take assignments at any of our three campuses

  • Must take one long-term assignment every 4 months (6 weeks or longer in duration)

Eligible shift differentials:

o   Evening differential: $1.40/hour (14:30 - 22:59)

o   Night differential: $1.60/hour (22:30 - 08:30)

o   Weekend differential: $1.00/hour (Friday @ 23:00 – Sunday @ 23:00)

o   Holiday Differential: 1.5x base rate of pay (2.0x base rate on Christmas)

Qualifications:

REQUIRED

  • 2 years of experience

  • Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training program or graduate of A.M.A certified diagnostic medical sonography program.

  • Current registration by the A.R.R.T. and/or A.R.D.M.S current licensure in one or more ultrasound disciplines is required.  

  • Maintain a current Iowa State Department of Public Health Permit to Practice.

  • Maintains BLS certification.
