The Division of Palliative Care and Geriatric Medicine at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is seeking aĀ board certified/eligible Palliative Medicine PhysicianĀ to join our interdisciplinary team.Ā 

This role is key to our clinical, educational, and quality improvement missions.Ā

  • ProvideĀ inpatient and outpatient consultation servicesĀ within Lahey’s academic medical center.Ā 

  • Collaborate with ourĀ interdisciplinary team.Ā 

  • Commit to promotingĀ quality care transitions.Ā

  • LHMC is affiliated with theĀ University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School.Ā 

  • Our division hosts anĀ ACGME-accredited Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship.Ā 

  • Professional Development:Ā We support candidates' interests with available clinical, educational, and academic opportunities.Ā 

  • Preferred:Ā Interest and experience inĀ medical education and program development.Ā 

  • Academic Appointment:Ā Opportunity for an academic appointment with the University of Massachusetts Chan School of Medicine (commensurateĀ with achievement).Ā 

āœ… Qualifications & RequirementsĀ 

CandidatesĀ mustĀ meet the following:Ā 

  • CompletedĀ Hospice and Palliative Medicine FellowshipĀ training by hireĀ date, orĀ demonstrate comparable experience.Ā 

  • Board certified/eligible in Palliative Medicine.Ā 

  • Demonstrate passion for clinical palliative care.Ā

Pay Range:

$220,000.00 USD - $240,000.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary rangeĀ the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation may be determined based on several factors, that may include education, training, relevant experience, specialty, geography of work location, productivity, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.Ā  In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include productivity and quality bonuses.Ā
