Job Description:

Surgical Pathologist - Burlington, MA

Join our team of sixteen expert pathologists at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, a proud member of Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH)! We're looking for a full-time Surgical Pathologist to contribute to our dynamic and collaborative environment.  Board certification and/or subspecialty experience are significant plus.

What You'll Do:

  • Sign out general surgical biopsies and resections.
  • Participate in autopsy and frozen section services.
  • Provide services to other affiliated hospitals within the BILH system.
  • Participate in various multidisciplinary conferences

We're Looking For:

  • AP or AP/CP board-certified Anatomic Pathologist.
  • Eligible for a Massachusetts medical license.
  • Fellowship training and experience in a subspecialty area like:
    • Genitourinary Pathology
    • Gynecologic Pathology
    • Head & Neck Pathology
    • Endocrine Pathology
    • Molecular Pathology
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

Our Department:

  • Processes over 37,000 surgical specimens at Burlington and 16,000 surgical specimens at Beverly Hospital annually.
  • Offers subspecialty expertise in a wide range of areas including:
    • Breast Pathology
    • GI Pathology
    • Medical Liver and Renal Pathology
    • Dermatopathology
    • Gynecologic Pathology
    • Cytopathology
    • Transplant Pathology
    • Hematopathology

Pay Range:

$337,000.00 USD - $381,000.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation may be determined based on several factors, that may include education, training, relevant experience, specialty, geography of work location, productivity, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.  In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include productivity and quality bonuses.
