Clinical Cardiologist

Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is seeking a full-time BC/BE Clinical Cardiologist to join the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at our main campus in Burlington, MA. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a nationally respected cardiovascular center known for delivering high-quality, comprehensive heart care.

Position Highlights

  • Build a robust outpatient cardiology practice
  • Provide inpatient cardiology care for complex patients, by leading inpatient cardiology teaching teams and consult services.
  • Participate in the management of a diverse and advanced cardiovascular patient population
  • Strong emphasis on clinical excellence and teaching

Ideal Candidate

  • Commitment to exceptional inpatient and outpatient cardiology care
  • Passion for clinical education
  • Interest or expertise in one or more of the following is strongly preferred:
    • Cardiovascular imaging
    • Vascular medicine
    • Advanced heart failure

Academic & Teaching Environment

  • Active teaching role for:
    • 22 fellows across clinical cardiology, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and vascular medicine
    • Medical students and residents through our role as a UMass Chan School of Medicine regional campus
  • All faculty participate in structured educational programs

Division & Program Overview

  • 50 cardiologists supported by 36 experienced Advanced Practitioners in six subspecialties
  • Annual clinical volume (2024):
    • 50,000 outpatient visits across five sites
    • 3,000 Cardiac Cath Lab procedures
    • 3,000 EP Lab procedure
    • 20,000 non-invasive cardiac tests

Pay Range:

$325,000.00 USD - $450,000.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation may be determined based on several factors, that may include education, training, relevant experience, specialty, geography of work location, productivity, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.  In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include productivity and quality bonuses.
