Job Description:

The Role

Entegris is currently seeking aĀ LeadĀ ManufacturingĀ EngineerĀ to join ourĀ Manufacturing EngineeringĀ team. This position will be basedĀ inĀ ourĀ Burnet, TXĀ facility.Ā 

Ā 

In this role, you willĀ be a key player on a dynamic, skilled team whoseĀ objectiveĀ is to sustain and continuously improve specialty chemical manufacturing processes for products used in semiconductor manufacturing. This role will be primarily responsible forĀ supporting theĀ distillationĀ purification processesĀ and equipment.Ā 

Ā 

WhatĀ You’llĀ DoĀ 

  • Drive a ā€œSafety Firstā€ culture by performing equipment, process, and behavioral audits and recommending/implementing solutions to risksĀ 

  • Develop/execute strategies and lead projects to expand manufacturing capacity on mid to high volume products/processes or to reduce variation and cost and to increase product yieldsĀ 

  • Communicate effectively across the organization (e.g.Ā facilities, operations,Ā customer quality,Ā etc.) to drive a result.Ā 

  • Contribute to the direction of the department in partnership with other members of the team and leadershipĀ 

  • Persistently drive resolution to highest impact issues/threats to manufacturing withĀ a strong senseĀ of urgency and integrityĀ 

  • Lead troubleshooting efforts as issues arise from internal/external customer concerns and collaborate with production personnel to implement sustainable solutionsĀ 

  • Complete failure analysisĀ testing onĀ returned products, collaborating with Quality to develop and implement corrective action plansĀ 

  • Actively use and lead the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) processes for significant failures to preventĀ reoccurrenceĀ 

  • Own and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and key initiativesĀ 

  • Create required documentation for new/modified equipment and processes including P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and recipesĀ 

  • Update, standardize, andĀ consolidateĀ existing documentation of processes including clear andĀ accurateĀ work instructions and PIDs for manufacturing operators on process operationsĀ 

  • Submit capital investment requests with supporting business case justifications and drive the execution of capital projectsĀ 

  • CollaborateĀ with New Product Development team on introduction of new products into manufacturing, ensuring necessary process robustness, documentation, and training have been completedĀ 

  • Coach and mentor junior engineersĀ 

WhatĀ WeĀ SeekĀ 

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or similarĀ 

  • 10+ years of experience in operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of equipment that supports chemicalĀ distillationĀ purification and/or packaging

  • Distillation experience required

  • Demonstrated leadership ability to drive cross-functional project execution and problem solving whileĀ maintainingĀ positive/collaborative working relationshipsĀ 

  • Experience with PFDs, P&IDs, Control Logic Diagrams, Instrumentation Selection, Valve and Line Sizing,Ā etcĀ 

  • Experience with FMEA or other risk assessment toolsĀ 

  • Ability to present technical data to all levels of the organizationĀ 

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and wear PPE as necessaryĀ 

  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally in support of various engineering projects/escalations (<5%)Ā 

Desired QualificationsĀ 

  • Experience with SPC, ISO quality standards, management-of-change for product/process control, chemical compatibility studiesĀ 

  • Familiarity with handling hazardous materialsĀ Ā 

  • Familiarity with DOT 49 CFR hazardous material transportation codes and regulationsĀ 

  • Experience withĀ Aspen,Ā AutoCAD/SolidworksĀ or similar a plusĀ
