Job Title:  Residential Supervision Monitor [RSM]

Salary:  From $18.00 per hour

Job description:

The Intermediate Sanction Facility is a criminal justice setting that provides resources and tools for probationers (up to 54 residents) to improve their legal circumstances. The shift is four days off and three days on- rotating- four days on and 3 days off- 12 hours per shift. Hours: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Day Shift.

The residential monitor performs tasks providing routine supervision to the resident population of probationers, while providing security for the facility; works on a shift team. The Residential Monitor reports to the Residential Shift Coordinator. Performs other duties as assigned. Must be organized and able to follow policy and procedure as written/directed.

Responsibilities and Duties: Must be physically capable of performing professional body pat-downs (no strip searches) and searches on a continuous basis. Monitoring urine analysis (male staff only), making random and frequent tours/checks of the facility. The ability to write professional documentation of activities and/or incidents. Be able to work flexible hours when needed to assure the success of the programs and the facility. Benefits upon time completion include employee fully paid health insurance.

Qualifications and Skills: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. No experience is necessary, but preferred. Must possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Must be physically capable of performing lifting and bending in order to fulfill tasks/duties assigned. Must have a valid Texas driver's license and proof of liability insurance. Must be able to drive a van during shift hours. A positive attitude, good boundaries, and ability to work on a team are mandatory.
