Summary:

Our RNs are responsible for providing direct patient care in Med Surg, ICU, ER and the Family Birthing Center. Our Registered Nurses are crossed trained in each department and experience a wide variety of specialties and services. As a casual RN you are required to work a minimum of 2 shift per month. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care.
  • Evaluate patient changes and outcomes; consult with other health care providers and adjust nursing care processes as indicated.
  • Personalize care plans to meet the needs of the patient.
  • Maintain accurate and current nursing documentation.
  • Treat patients and their families with respect and dignity.
  • Prepares and administers medications. Reconciles medications upon admission, when level of care changes and upon discharge.
  • Regularly assess pain, medicate as ordered, and document response.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possession of a current Registered Nurse license within the State of Oregon
  • CPR / BLS cert preferred
  • NRP preferred
  • ENCP / PALS preferred
  • TNCC preferred

Desirable Requirements:

  • At least one year (1) of nursing experience in a Rural Critical Access Hospital.
  • Possession of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
