Resident Assistant

Arbors at Ridges Assisted Living is located on the Ebenezer Ridges Burnsville Campus near Fairview Ridges Hospital. Arbors at Ridges offers 62 breathtaking apartments. Ebenezer is looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide whom would be responsible for providing personal cares, passing medications, and designated health related services to improve and/or maintain the senior age residents’ physical and emotional well-being!  Position is located in Burnsville, MN at our beautiful care center, in the Assisted Living.  NO CNA required, unless under 18 years old.

This caregiver schedule includes:

• 48 hours every two weeks
• Evening shift: 3:00 pm-11:15 pm
• Saturday and Sunday, every other weekend

Responsibilities: 

• Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
• Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
• May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
• Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
• Assists with the onboarding of new staff

Required:

• CNA certification is only required if under 18 years old

Preferred:

• • Ability to communicate optimally, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkers
  • Ability to work in a team setting and support others
  • Curious to work with a diverse and older population
  • High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA or HHA course
  • Previous work experience as HHA, CNA, NA, DSP, PCA
