Pay: Starting at $50 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time, School-Based

Overview:
Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join a school team in Burnsville, Minnesota. This full-time position offers the opportunity to support students with diverse learning needs in a collaborative and student-centered environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction aligned with IEP goals and individualized student needs

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and behavior support plans

• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports

• Support students academically, socially, and behaviorally

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education teaching license (or eligibility)

• Previous school-based experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

• Commitment to supporting students with varying learning profiles
