We are looking for an experienced Bindery and Finishing Operator who takes pride in producing high-quality work, understands the importance of accuracy, and enjoys working with modern production equipment in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Bindery and Finishing Operator, you will operate and maintain cutting, folding, saddle-stitching, MBO folding and gluing, cylinder die-cutting, plow-folding, and near-line web-roll finishing equipment. • Collaborate with Prepress, Print, Mail, Client Services, and Operations on imposition requirements, workflows, scheduling, and job completion.
  • Follow job tickets, written work instructions, operating procedures, and quality standards.
  • Perform production quality checks, sampling, and verification steps to ensure consistent output.
  • Complete record and sequence verification for variable-data and compliance-driven jobs.
  • Safely operate material-handling equipment to move paper, finished goods, and production materials in and out of the department.
  • Cross-train on other post-print production equipment and support other departments when needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Work overtime as business needs require.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards, including HIPAA, SOC 2, and OSHA requirements.

What We’re Looking For

  • Two or more years of experience operating bindery and/or finishing equipment.
  • Experience with cutters, folders, saddle stitchers, MBO folding and gluing lines, cylinder die cutters, plow folders, or near-line web-roll finishing equipment strongly preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot production equipment.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
  • Comfortable using computers and production software in a technology-driven environment.
  • Ability to follow established processes, manage priorities, and meet production deadlines.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills and a willingness to help where needed.
  • Flexibility to work overtime based on production demand.
