Manufacturing Associate – Mechanical Engraving

Position Summary

The Mechanical Engraving Production Department creates beautiful, personalized gifts for our customers. Manufacturing Associates support production line operations by using engraving equipment to personalize each unique product.

This role involves inspecting products, loading and unloading fixtures, operating machinery, and adhering to all PMall safety guidelines and standards.

Shift & Pay

1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Produce goods in accordance with company guidelines
  • Operate mechanical engraving equipment (Gravotech rotary engraving machines)
  • Operate equipment in other production areas as needed
  • Load and unload fixtures and materials as required
  • Ensure all materials are properly prepared and ready for equipment use
  • Perform cleaning and minor maintenance on production equipment
  • Continuously monitor product quality and report any issues
  • Read and match item labels to customer requests
  • Accurately match colors, text, and products
  • Identify opportunities and recommend ideas to improve productivity
  • Report equipment malfunctions or quality concerns
  • Follow direction from supervisors, managers, or assigned POCs
  • Assist in other departments as needed
  • Maintain strong attendance and punctuality
  • Follow all company policies and safety regulations
Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous machine operator experience preferred
  • Experience in light production environments
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Understanding of basic quality control concepts
  • Basic troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours) and perform hands-on work throughout the shift
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to gain clarification when needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Experience with Gravotech or Newing-Hall rotary engraving equipment highly desirable

The expected hourly pay range for this position is $15.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
