Position Summary

The Manufacturing Associate II serves as a key point of contact within the department, supporting new, temporary, and full-time team members with training, guidance, and daily operational questions.

This role helps ensure communication flows effectively between associates, supervisors, and leadership while maintaining organized, fully functional workstations. During non-peak periods, the Manufacturing Associate II also operates as a production specialist, actively contributing to output and product quality.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Instruct and support new, temporary, and full-time staff members
  • Assist with tracking orders to ensure timely fulfillment
  • Keep the Supervisor informed of workflow status throughout the shift
  • Provide feedback on team member performance to leadership
  • Report personnel concerns or conflicts to the Supervisor
  • Foster a positive, collaborative team environment
  • Communicate with Quality Control regarding rejected items and coordinate with operations for rework or replacements
  • Manage inventory by replenishing and requesting supplies as needed
  • Ensure work areas are cleaned and sanitized at the end of each shift in accordance with PPE guidelines
  • Lead by example in attendance, punctuality, and work ethic
  • Maintain organization and functionality of assigned work areas
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 3 months of related experience or equivalent training
  • Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and support team members
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and leadership levels
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Proficiency with Windows-based computer applications
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

 

 

The expected hourly pay range for this position is $16.50 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
