We are seeking experienced Petroleum Construction Foremen to join our teams in Butler, PA and Mechanicsburg, PA. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing crews, coordinating subcontractors, and overseeing the construction and installation of petroleum equipment.

The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who can lead a crew while actively working alongside the team in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead construction crews and coordinate daily job-site activities.
  • Delegate work to construction employees and subcontractors while actively participating in the work.
  • Install specialty fiberglass and flexible piping systems.
  • Install fueling dispensers and related petroleum equipment and systems.
  • Install sub-base aggregate and perform compaction using vibratory equipment.
  • Form, pour, and finish concrete pads, islands, piers, and other structures.
  • Perform demolition and removal of concrete and asphalt.
  • Operate heavy equipment to excavate ditches and tank holes and assist with equipment installation.
  • Monitor schedules for employees and subcontractors to ensure projects remain on track.
  • Assign work based on crew members' skills and ensure installation requirements are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain safe work and housekeeping practices at all times.
  • Brief crew members on daily assignments and provide direction throughout the workday.
  • Track rental equipment, materials, labor requirements, and subcontractor activity.
  • Verify that work complies with applicable codes, project specifications, and manufacturer requirements.
  • Document daily activities, materials and parts used, testing, inspections, and job-site visitors.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with crew members, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Perform concrete work including framing, pouring, mixing, and finishing.
  • Travel to job sites as required, including occasional overnight travel.
Must Have
  • Minimum 5 years of petroleum construction experience.
  • Field construction experience running a crew and working with subcontractors.
  • Experience operating Skid-Steer Loaders, Excavators, and Backhoes.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • State-specific AST/UST DEP certifications.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment testing, including skills testing, background checks, and drug testing.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather.
  • Ability to work overtime when required.
  • Ability to travel for occasional out-of-town assignments and overnight stays.
