Senior Network Engineer - Europe

Responsibilities

OBXtek is currently seeking a Senior Network Engineer (Europe). In support of a Network Engineers and Specialists Support (NE&S) project for DHA.

Position Description:

• Lead troubleshooting and sustainment of enterprise LAN/WLAN/WAN environments.
• Maintain alignment with DHA and European regional command policies.
• Support RMF/ATO technical requirements and cybersecurity remediation.
• Coordinate with Government, host‑nation, and supporting organizations.
• Act as the senior network authority for DHA operations in Europe.

Work Location

• Primary Location: OCONUS – Europe
• Work Model: Regional support with multi‑country site coverage
• Coverage Area: Europe‑aligned DHA MTFs and GSUs

Travel Requirements

• Regular in‑region OCONUS travel across European sites.
• Must comply with host‑nation agreements and country‑specific requirements.
• On‑call escalation and emergency travel required for critical incidents.
• Eligible for Overseas Housing Allowance (OHA) when applicable.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplineOR technical training with extensive experience.

Experience

• Minimum 5–10 years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Proven experience supporting OCONUS and multi‑country DoD environments.
• Expertise in Cisco, SolarWinds, ARMIS, and enterprise security architectures.
• Exprience with OTDR and Cable Testing.

Certifications

• IAM Level III
• CCNP – Required
• CISSP – Required
