Primary Responsibilities:
- Performs continuous physical inventory of finished goods, WIP, Raw Materials and Supplies.
- Consistently executes quality system work procedures pertinent to the position.
- Verifies through SAP inventory quantities are accurate; makes necessary changes for system accuracy.
- Checks quality assurance, assembly area, receiving and shipping docks for items no on location or staged.
- Counts and records on locations of all items being inventoried. Calculates number of individual pieces based on number of pallets, hampers/boxes, pieces. Record results manually and systematically.
- Verifies locations of supplies etc.
- Launch investigative query for missing items or items not on said location. Resolves discrepancies between physical counts and system counts.
- Assists in doing inventories and spot audits.
Qualifications:
- Ability to operate industrial fork trucks to handle pallet loads of materials.
- Ability to handle a pallet jack.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Use PC and RF systems independently and effectively.
- Solve problems while paying strict attention to detail.
- Communicate both verbally and written, effectively and efficiently.
- The ability to gain a wide knowledge base of areas affecting and relating to inventory.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a positive attitude.
