Compensation

$20.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience, certifications, and skill level)

  • Monthly proficiency bonus
  • 3% pay increase per State Certification obtained. 
  • Tool reimbursement or tool allowance
  • Boot allowance


What You'll Do

  • Diagnose and repair trailer mechanical, electrical, suspension, brake, and structural issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
  • Conduct welding, fabrication, and trailer body repairs.
  • Repair or replace damaged trailer components
  • Perform DOT inspections and safety checks.
  • Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation
  • Complete repair documentation accurately
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment

Qualifications


Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a drug screen, physical, audiogram, and lift test
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting abilities
  • Must provide own hand tools
  • Strong attendance, work ethic, and time-management skills
  • Ability to obtain a State Certification

Preferred

  • 2–5 years of semi-trailer, heavy-duty equipment, or diesel repair experience
  • Welding and fabrication experience
  • DOT inspection experience
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented approach
