AKWEL CADILLAC USA, Inc. is looking for a Human Resource Administrator. The complete job description is listed below.

The successful candidate will become part of a seasoned Human Resources Team, concentrating on recruitment, onboarding and administration of the AKWEL Methodologies associated with the Human Resource Function.

Salary Range: 50,000.00 To 65,000.00 (USD) Annually - salary will be dependent on experience. 

Handles the administrative management of Human Resources at his site(s) in accordance with the Group rules and the regulations in force.

  •  Handles all aspects of the administrative management of personnel, from when employees join the company to when they leave.
  •  Performs administrative tasks and follow-up (letters and emails, certificates, invitations, dashboards, reports, etc.) in accordance with Group rules.

 Recruitment

  • Manages temporary and permanent employee orders  
  • Prepares advertising campaigns, on-line postings, and manages the applicant tracking and on-boarding software (ADP Workforce Now)
  • Screens and interviews applicants, makes employment offers, performs background & reference checks 
  • Maintains staffing models, drafts and manages new employee paperwork, as well as recruiting and retention metrics and dashboards

 Training

  • Provides for new employee orientation to include safety and benefits introduction
  • Sets up Electronic Personnel Files and provides for input of initial hire data to HRIS system via the Onboard system and Manage Documents
  • Creates time and security badges & informs employees of the use 

Payroll & Benefits

  • Is proficient in both payroll and benefits software (ADP Workforce Now) in order to provide assistance to and back up of Payroll and/or Benefits Specialist as needed 
  • May Assist with Leave Administration – Unemployment, FMLA, S/T and L/T Disability Claims
  • Assists with planning and deploying employee events and recognition

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resource Management with 2-5 years of experience in Human Resources – preferably a manufacturing environment (including practical experience in recruiting, benefits, & payroll).  
  •  Will consider a 2 year or non-degree professional with 5+ years of applicable HR experience  

 Professional Abilities and Skills:

  • Highly developed interpersonal communication skills, discretion, approachability and a strong sense of equity, confidentiality, self-discipline and organization
  • Detail Oriented, Trustworthy, Creative Problem Solver with a desire to work as a team with colleagues
  • Proficiency in desktop applications and knowledge of payroll software (ADP) and the Office suite strongly preferred - strong computer skills are a must.

 Technical Knowledge:

  • Previous knowledge and application of U.S. employment laws desirable i.e.:  FLSA, FMLA, ADA, ERISA, EEO etc.
