Responsibilities:
- Manage architectural millwork projects from initial scope through final installation, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
- Coordinate with clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors to align project specifications and expectations
- Review shop drawings, blueprints, and millwork specifications for accuracy and constructability
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and progress reports
- Oversee production workflow in collaboration with shop foremen and craftsmen
- Conduct site visits to assess field conditions and ensure quality of millwork installations
- Manage change orders, RFIs, and submittals throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
- 3+ years of project management experience in architectural millwork, cabinetry, or finish carpentry
- Strong knowledge of millwork materials, joinery techniques, and wood species
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with AWI standards and commercial millwork projects is a plus
