Astor Services seeks a Part-time LPN to support the health needs of children ages 0–5 in our Head Start programs. 30 hours/week, Monday–Friday, summers off.
Responsibilities
- Provide first aid and respond to routine health concerns.
- Conduct daily health checks and basic screenings.
- Administer medications per policy.
- Maintain health records and ensure compliance with NYS, OCFS, and Head Start standards.
- Review physical and dental forms; assist families in securing any necessary follow-up care.
- Communicate health updates to families and staff.
- Support intake and promote healthy practices.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive, child-centered environment.
- Use basic computer systems for data entry and documentation.

Requirements
You must have:
NYS LPN license.
CPR/BLS certification.
You should have:
Experience with young children.
Knowledge of child health.
Valid NYS driver’s license.
Pediatric screening experience.
