Job DetailsJob Location: West Caldwell, NJ 07006Salary Range: $16.00 - $16.75 HourlyPosition Overview We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Dining Services Aide to join our Dietary Services team. This individual plays a key role in supporting the nutritional well-being of our residents by ensuring meals are delivered accurately, safely, and with care. The role includes meal preparation support, food service, and cleaning responsibilities in a healthcare setting. Full time hours 11:00 am - 7:00 pm including every other weekend.  Must be willing to get flu vaccine every October as well. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation, portioning, and serving of meals and snacks Deliver trays to residents’ rooms or dining areas according to schedule Ensure meal accuracy, including texture modifications and special diets Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen equipment, and food prep areas Wash dishes, utensils, and other kitchen items using approved sanitation methods Replenish supplies in service areas and maintain proper food storage Follow all infection control and food safety standards Provide respectful and dignified service to all residents QualificationsQualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Must be able to read and speak English Prior experience in healthcare food service or hospitality is a plus Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Compassionate, dependable, and respectful toward individuals with disabilities Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as needed What We Offer Competitive hourly wage Paid time off and holiday pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Training provided—ideal for entry-level candidates seeking healthcare experience A supportive team environment where your contributions are valued
