What You’ll Do:
- Work collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system
- Â Â Â Conduct exams, and write evaluations and reports
- Â Â Â Order and interpret diagnostic testing
- Â Â Â Manage medication
- Â Â Â Complete reclassifications and other reviews as indicated
- Â Â Â Make referrals for specialized care or treatment
- Â Â Â Perform duties in accordance with scope of practice; ODRC policies, procedures, protocols; and related American Correctional Association standards
- Â Â Â Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews
- Â Â Â Provide or share responsibilities of off-site 24-hour emergency telephone call coverage as needed (provision of on-call services are included as part of the normal job duties and do not garner extra compensation)
- Â Â Â Engage in collaborative agreements, as needed
- Â Â Â Determine the need for specialty consults
- Attend professional meetings
- Â Â Â Manage on-call schedule
- Â Â Â Provide clinical supervision of all providers, ensuring that care is provided in accordance with ODRC policy and procedure and meets community standards
