 Job Summary:

This individual will learn various jobs within the tire recycling facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Comply with all safety requirements

Optimism production

Assist with maintenance and repairs of equipment

Loading of feed hoppers

Moving finished product finished

Stage and load product for shipments

Daily housekeeping responsibilities

Maintain great housekeeping in production area and yard

Keep equipment clean and orderly following safety regulations

Other duties as assigned by production supervisor

Skills and Abilities:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds (The maximum lifting weight that employees may lift unassisted is 50 lbs.). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects

Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds on a routine basis and (75+) pounds occasionally (assisted only).

Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions

Please note: all schedules are subject to change based on production demands. Employees will be provided with enough notification prior to any changes of their work schedules.

Education and Experience:

  • Prior experience in the tire recycling or manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • Forklift Operator
  • Skid Loader / Bobcat (training will be provided)
  • Front End Loader

Compensation:

  • $17.00 an hour.  Paid bi-weekly.
