Apache Mills, Inc., a worldwide leader in floor mat manufacturing, has an immediate opening to join our growing company as a member of our Operations Team. We are currently seeking a Utility for our Vinyl Department fast-paced manufacturing operations. This position is for 1st shift, schedule Monday- Thursday 7am - 5pm some Friday's if needed.
This position requires the ability to rotate all the Vinyl Ovens(this is not a complete job description):
Duties:
- Basic housekeeping
- Responsible for the production plate
- Communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Bend and stack material on pallets
- Communication Skills
- Attention to detail, verbal and written
- Inspect Mat
- Repetitive Motion
- Working on an elevated platform
- Feed products through rollers
- Transport material as necessary
- Must be able to bail foam
- Operate a lift truck safely in a fast-paced Manufacturing and Receiving Environment.
- Pass the lift truck written certification exam successfully and demonstrate safe operation.
- Utilize the scanning equipment and acquire a general knowledge of the AS400 system.
- Work extended hours include weekends when business needs are required.
- Meets and exceeds company quality standards.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Follow verbal and written instructions.
- Work cooperatively, courteously, and respectfully with all team members.
- Perform job duties in variable weather conditions (including hot weather).
- Ability to lift 30-50 pounds plus.
- Ability to accurately locate materials needed.
- Focused and energetic.
