Role Description
As a Warehouse Specialist at BWT, you will play a key role in maintaining the efficiency and organization of our warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include operating sit-down forklifts, managing inventory, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate sit-down forklifts to transport, load, unload, and stack materials or products within the warehouse facility.
  • Maneuver forklifts in narrow aisles, tight spaces, and congested areas, adhering to all safety guidelines.
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers, ensuring proper placement and securing of materials.
  • Follow established stacking procedures to optimize warehouse space.
  • Conduct pre-shift forklift inspections and report any maintenance needs or malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by verifying and matching received goods against purchase orders or delivery documents, ensuring accuracy and reporting discrepancies.
  • Utilize forklift attachments and accessories as needed to handle specific types of materials or products.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas, including aisles, shelves, and storage locations.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with warehouse team members to fulfill customer orders, ensuring on-time delivery and satisfaction.
  • Assist with additional warehouse tasks such as packing, unpacking boxes, and other duties as required by management.

Qualifications
  • Valid forklift operator certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of forklift experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and forklift operation.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Required to complete company-mandated safety training courses.
