About the Role: 

The Software Developer, Mid role uses a variety of skills and tools, including various coding languages, project management, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and proficiency in tool development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain .NET applications.
  • Architect and implement complex, scalable, and reliable software solutions, ensuring high performance and low latency.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements refinement and decomposition, design, coding, testing, and deployment using DevOps best practices.
  • Work within the agile scrum framework and actively participate in agile ceremonies (i.e., Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospective, Daily Scrum, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.
  • Develop solutions that meet client expectations and requirements.
  • Ensure software compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and architecture discussions to maintain high-quality and high-performance software products.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to cloud computing, CI/CD, and UI/UX development.

Must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of recent experience in software development with direct experience developing to specific customer requirements. 
  • 1+ years of experience with Low code / No code solutions such as Power Apps and Power BI.
  • 1+ years of experience with SQL Server, Dataverse, or similar relational database systems.
  • 1+ years of experience with any scripting language (e.g. Scripting language (e.g., JavaScript, Python) framework.
  • Proven track record designing and developing complex software systems.
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Docker. 
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers in software development practices.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with DBAs, product managers, and quality assurance teams.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to obtain a cloud computing certification (i.e., AWS Cloud Practitioner or equivalent, at minimum).
  • Active secret security clearance.

Nice to have:

  • Cloud computing certification (i.e., AWS Cloud Practitioner level or above).
  • Recent experience with frontend development using Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Recent experience with full stack web development
