Seasonal 

Schedule/Availability Flexible availability required. Shifts may include weekends, holidays, and early mornings/late afternoons to support site turns, events, and peak occupancy. Overtime may be required during high-volume periods or after severe weather.

Position Overview

The Grounds (LANDSCAPER) Ambassador - Pine Royale is responsible for maintaining the overall condition, safety, and presentation of the golf course grounds, club facilities, and surrounding property.

This role is a skilled, hands-on position focused on landscaping, maintenance, and equipment operation to ensure a polished, high-end club environment that meets member expectations.

Unlike resort roles, this position is primarily operational and task-driven, with a strong emphasis on consistency, precision, and upkeep of the grounds and equipment.

Position Summary

You will perform routine groundskeeping, maintenance work, and equipment servicing while supporting seasonal operations and ensuring all areas of the club remain safe, clean, and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities

Groundskeeping & Landscaping

  • Perform daily groundskeeping duties including:
    • Mowing, edging, weed eating
    • Leaf blowing and debris removal
    • Landscaping and turf maintenance
  • Maintain pathways, outdoor common areas, and course-adjacent spaces
  • Ensure all outdoor areas meet high aesthetic and maintenance standards

General Maintenance & Repairs

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks including:
    • Painting
    • Pressure washing
    • Minor carpentry and repairs
  • Assist with upkeep of buildings, structures, and outdoor fixtures
  • Support seasonal prep including storm preparation and debris cleanup

Equipment Maintenance & Operations

  • Maintain and perform basic service on:
    • Golf carts
    • Small engines
    • Landscaping and maintenance equipment
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are:
    • Clean
    • Properly stored
    • Safely used

Safety & Monitoring

  • Identify and report property issues, hazards, or safety concerns promptly
  • Follow all company and departmental safety procedures and guidelines
  • Ensure work is executed safely and efficiently at all times

Team & Operational Support

  • Work independently or collaboratively to complete assigned projects
  • Support seasonal operational needs and property improvements
  • Maintain consistent work quality aligned with club standards

Requirements

  • Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including walking, bending, lifting, and standing
  • Comfortable working in various outdoor weather conditions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or golf course maintenance
  • Basic knowledge of equipment repair and small engine maintenance
  • Familiarity with golf course or country club operations
  • Strong work ethic and pride in maintaining high-quality outdoor environments
