SAAZ is advancing sensor solutions, from design and development to production and delivery of space-qualified hardware. Our expertise spans UV, visible, NIR, and IR sensors, including scanners, starers, event-based sensors, and LiDAR, leveraging cutting-edge technologies like tiled 3D IC packaging and cryo cooling architectures.


SAAZ is seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our office. This individual will help ensure the workplace runs efficiently by coordinating office activities, managing inventory and supplies, assisting with procurement, receiving shipments, and creating a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, resourceful, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate and support the daily operations of the office to ensure a productive and organized work environment.  
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for office-related needs and administrative support.  
  • Maintain accurate inventory of office supplies, equipment, and consumables; proactively reorder items as needed.  
  • Assist with procurement activities, including obtaining quotes, placing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and coordinating with vendors.  
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.  
  • Document received materials and update inventory systems promptly.  
  • Coordinate the shipment of products, equipment, and materials as needed.  
  • Resolve discrepancies involving damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments with vendors. 
  • Maintain relationships with office vendors and service providers to ensure timely support and issue resolution.  
  • Coordinate meeting room scheduling and ensure common areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked.  
  • Welcome guests, clients, and visitors in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.  
  • Assist with coordinating office events, team meetings, and employee activities.  
  • Support onboarding logistics for new employees, including workspace setup and office supplies.  
  • Identify opportunities to improve office processes and operational efficiency.  
  • Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.  


Qualifications: 



Required Qualifications: 

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
  • U.S. permanent residency or U.S. citizenship. 
  • 2+ years of experience in office management, administrative operations, inventory management, purchasing, or a related role.  
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and common business software.  
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and driven with strong problem-solving skills.  
  • Professional demeanor with a customer service mindset.  
  • Friendly, approachable, and welcoming to employees, clients, and visitors. 
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Ability to lift and move packages up to 25–40 pounds as needed for receiving and inventory activities. 

 

 Desired Qualifications: 

  • Experience with inventory control, receiving, stock organization, and purchase order processing. 
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, engineering, semiconductor, electronics, or laboratory environment.  
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.  
  • Knowledge of purchasing best practices, inventory forecasting, and vendor performance management.

  • Become proficient with the company's inventory and purchasing systems. 
  • Organize office and inventory areas for efficiency and accessibility.  
  • Build positive working relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.  
  • Process purchase orders, receiving, and inventory transactions accurately and on time.
