Job Summary

As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with Buena Vista Home Health, you will provide in-home speech therapy services to help patients improve communication and swallowing function. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and compassionate, with a passion for working with the geriatric community.

Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
Provide therapy ordered by the physician
Educate patients, caregivers, and families
Prepare clinical notes and maintain accurate documentation
Communicate with physicians and interdisciplinary team
Recommend communication devices and aids as needed
Participate in case conferences and maintain clinical competency

Requirements

Active California SLP License
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology
Current CPR certification
Licensed driver with insured, reliable vehicle
Strong communication and organizational skills
