Job Title: Restaurant Floor Supervisor & Office Administrator (Temporary to Permanent)
Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile, tech-savvy Restaurant Floor Supervisor & Office Administrator who blends a genuine heart for hospitality with a meticulous eye for detail. This is a temporary position with an exciting opportunity to transition into a permanent, long-term leadership role for the right candidate. In this dual role, you will spend roughly 60% of your time championing our guest experience on the dining room floor and 40% anchoring our business operations through digital organization. The ideal candidate can seamlessly pivot from leading an energetic floor shift to navigating spreadsheets and cloud-based organization systems.
Key Responsibilities
Floor Supervision: A Heart for Hospitality (Approx. 60%)
- Elevate Guest Experiences: Greet guests warmly, manage table touches, and proactively turn minor service hiccups into memorable, positive moments.
- Lead & Mentor: Inspire, coach, and support front-of-house staff to deliver seamless, warm service.
- Maintain Ambiance: Consistently audit the dining room floor to ensure lighting, music, temperature, and cleanliness perfectly match our brand standards.
Office Administration: An Eye for Detail (Approx. 40%)
- Digital Documentation: Maintain, organize, and update files using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Inventory & Vendor Relations: Order, track, and log front-of-house and office supplies, verifying that digital vendor invoices are 100% accurate.
- System Maintenance: Keep our POS system updated with menu changes, manage the restaurant's central email inbox, and maintain orderly digital filing systems.
- Maintain organization of our digital files
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 1-2+ years of restaurant leadership (Shift Lead, Captain, or Supervisor) combined with at least 1 year of administrative or office support experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced, hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive) is strictly required.
- The Hospitality Heart: A naturally warm, empathetic, and service-oriented personality. You genuinely enjoy making people feel welcome and valued.
- The Detailed Eye: Exceptional organizational skills. You spot typos, spreadsheet discrepancies, inventory shortages, and misplaced decor instantly.
- Tech Savvy: Ability to quickly adapt to modern restaurant POS systems (e.g., Toast, Clover) and reservation platforms
- Flexibility: Availability to work a flexible schedule, including peak dinner shifts, weekends, and holidays. This position is primarily a morning-mid day position.
