Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team in Cambridge, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products reach our valued customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers' locations
- Navigate efficiently through Cambridge and surrounding areas using GPS and local knowledge
- Load and unload deliveries, ensuring proper handling of products
- Process customer orders and handle cash or electronic payments accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety policies at all times
- Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly
- Adapt to changing weather conditions and delivery schedules
- Contribute to a positive team environment and maintain a professional appearance
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent knowledge of Cambridge and surrounding areas
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills for handling payments and inventory
- Ability to use GPS technology and mobile devices for order processing
- Physical stamina to lift and carry products weighing up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Time management skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Attention to detail in maintaining accurate delivery records
- Basic computer skills for using order management systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and resilience in handling challenging situations
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
