Sodexo is seeking an experienced and dynamic Area General Manager- Healthcare to lead our food service operations for Cambridge Hospital, Somerville Hospital, and Everett Hospital. All three hospitals are located in greater Boston, MA.

  • Lead all foodservice operations across patient dining, retail, and catering.

  • Manage and mentor salaried managers and their teams in delivering operational excellence and a top-tier patient experience 

  • Collaborate frequently with hospital leadership and stakeholders.

  • Drive financial performance, quality standards, and Sodexo program compliance.

  • Foster a team culture built on excellence, accountability, and collaboration.

What You Bring

  • Experience in senior-level foodservice management, specifically in healthcare

  • Experience leading large teams in complex, multi-unit environments.

  • Strong financial acumen with a track record of success in P&L or fee-based settings.

  • High energy, hands-on leadership style – this role requires daily onsite presence.

  • Familiarity with Sodexo systems is a plus, but not required.

  • Comfortable working in a high-pressure, high-expectation environment.
