Job Description

As theĀ LaunchĀ Program ManagerĀ for theĀ jointĀ USBUĀ and OBU DD&T,Ā you will report into the Head of Portfolio Strategy and Operational Excellence.Ā Ā In this role, you will be accountable forĀ program managementĀ acrossĀ new product launch efforts fromĀ theĀ data, digital and technology perspectiveĀ -Ā focusing primarily onĀ cross-functional program management ofĀ dataĀ & insights,Ā sales & field, marketing & digital, and medical & patient servicesĀ capabilityĀ workstreams.Ā Ā You willĀ serveĀ as an ongoing PMO function coordinatingĀ across the various DD&T capability areas to manage the overall DD&T launch workstream.Ā Ā You will alsoĀ representĀ theĀ DD&TĀ programĀ as an integrated part of theĀ product’sĀ Core Launch Team, inĀ partnership withĀ the DD&T businessĀ head.Ā

SCOPEĀ Ā 

  • USBU and OBU Product Launches:Ā Use existing technology platformsĀ and capabilities to support upcoming launches, and coordinate any new capabilities needed for a successful therapy launch.Ā 

  • Launch Program Management: ProvideĀ DD&TĀ program managementĀ leadershipĀ across theĀ capabilityĀ workstreams,Ā ensuringĀ interdependencies areĀ identified,Ā risks are escalated, and status is transparent for both DD&T leadership and business stakeholders.Ā

ACCOUNTABILITIESĀ Ā 

  • Establish the cross-functional DD&T Workstream and associatedĀ launch program plan to manage interdependencies across workstreams,Ā identifyĀ and escalate risks,Ā monitorĀ programĀ statusĀ and ensure communicationĀ of overall DD&T launch plan.Ā 

  • Collaborate withĀ BrandĀ Core Launch Team to deliverĀ the DD&T launch planĀ in support of the product’s commercial launch by working closely withĀ businessĀ program management, brand team,Ā DD&T business lead,Ā project managers,Ā scrumĀ masters, architects and solution delivery teams, ultimately to ensureĀ DD&T launchĀ readiness.Ā 

  • Work withĀ coreĀ launch team toĀ identifyĀ the requirements forĀ DD&TĀ capabilitiesĀ to support successful product commercialization.Ā 

  • Partner with technology productĀ managers(s) andĀ DD&T capability leadersĀ toĀ inform DD&T launch program statusĀ and proactivelyĀ identifyĀ risks, dependencies, or delays to the plan.Ā 

  • Organize and executeĀ DD&TĀ launch planning sessions,Ā workstream meetings,Ā retrospectives, with a focus onĀ close collaboration across the DD&T launch team, continuousĀ learning from the past and documenting key learnings and best practices inĀ the DD&TĀ product launch playbook.Ā 

  • Find opportunities to embrace innovative technologies and processesĀ 

  • Foster and enable an environment of continuous improvement through honest communication and regular retrospectives with the goal of raising issues/concerns, documenting keyĀ learningsĀ andĀ identifyingĀ clear action steps.Ā 

  • SupportĀ DD&T BusinessĀ Lead in development and ongoing operation ofĀ LaunchĀ PMO function for allĀ DD&T launchĀ activities.Ā

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:Ā 

  • Bachelor's Degree isĀ requiredĀ 

  • 5+ years of experience in Information Technology, 3+ yrs in project or program managementĀ 

  • Proven competences in innovation, strategic or visionary thinking, agile methodologies, and people management.Ā 

  • Proven competences in stakeholder alignment, business need analysis, and customer/results focus.Ā 

  • Prior experience working with and managing third-party service providers preferred.Ā 

  • Experience directly & routinely interacting with a businessĀ unitĀ brand and operational colleagues.Ā 

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability toĀ buildingĀ trust, listen, and ask effective questions.Ā 

  • Interest in technology trends and application of technology to improve endĀ user’sĀ experience.Ā 

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and/or proficient in project management practices, portfolio review,Ā financeĀ and budgeting.Ā 

  • ProvenĀ track recordĀ of effective project leadership and positive results.Ā 

  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.Ā 

  • Experience with US Pharmaceutical digital and field force HCP and Consumer engagement strategies, technologies, and data.Ā

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$137,000.00 - $215,270.00


The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.Ā 

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
