The team’s mission is to ensure Envoy remains the HTTP proxy for all of Google, its customers, the entire GCP ecosystem, and the OSS community, while driving and solidifying its adoption as the premier proxy for AI-specific workloads, and providing strong, collaborative leadership of its open-source community.

Responsibilities:

  • Master the Envoy ecosystem and contribute to both in open source and in google3.
  • Contribute to new features including in the AI space.
  • Ensure Envoy features integrate cleanly and efficiently from OSS into the Google production ecosystem.
  • Contribute to maintaining the scalability, stability, and security of Envoy that is required by the large-scale deployment at Google and expected by our OSS community.
