The Associate Director,Ā DataĀ ArchitectĀ is aĀ member of the IT teamĀ responsible for the architecture, delivery, and ongoing management of enterprise integrations across the organization. This role oversees integration platforms, middleware, APIs, and data flows that connect core business applications including ERP, HCM, CRM, Supply Chain, Data Platforms, and third-party systems. The Associate DirectorĀ is an individualĀ contributorĀ role providing hands on technicalĀ expertiseĀ to ensure seamless, secure, and scalable connectivity across the IT ecosystem.Ā

This personĀ plays a critical role in digital transformation byĀ establishingĀ integration standards, driving automation, and enabling real-time data exchange to support business growth and operational excellence.Ā 

Ā 

Duties/ResponsibilitiesĀ 

  • Own and govern integration platforms (e.g.,Workato,Ā Oracle Integration Cloud, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Azure Integration Services, Informatica, etc.).Ā 

  • Define integration standards, best practices, APIs, and reusable frameworks to ensure consistency and scalability.Ā 

  • Oversee the design of integration solutions including real-time APIs, event-based messaging, ETL/ELT, and batch processes.Ā 

  • Lead cross-functional integration projects supportingĀ system migrations, digital initiatives, and SaaS deployments.Ā 

  • Translate business requirements into technical integration designs.Ā 

  • Manage delivery timelines, budgets, and resources to meet project commitments.Ā 

  • Partner with vendors, implementation partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery.Ā 

  • Oversee daily operations of integration services including monitoring, issue resolution, and performance tuning.Ā 

  • MaintainĀ integrationĀ catalogs, documentation, and interface inventories.Ā 

  • Establish governance processes around API lifecycle management, change control, and versioning.Ā 

  • Ensure compliance with security frameworks, data privacy regulations, and IT controls (SOX, GDPR, etc.).Ā 

  • Implement robust authentication, authorization, and encryption standards across all integrations.Ā 

  • Manage integration-related vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices.Ā 

  • Conduct regular audits and support regulatory, internal, and external assessments.Ā 

  • Provide thought leadership on integration technologies, patterns, and emerging trends (APIs, event-driven architecture, microservices, iPaaS).Ā 

  • Collaborate withĀ IT peersĀ and application owners to shape future-state architecture.Ā

The base salary for this position is expected to range between $175,500.00 - $214,500.00 USD per year.

The salary offered is determined based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant education and training, overall related experience, specialized, rare or in-demand skill sets, internal comparators and other business needs. Upon joining Intellia, your salary will be reviewed periodically and additional factors such as time in role and performance will be considered. Intellia may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.

Additional compensation includes a performance-based annual cash bonus, a new hire equity grant, and eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards the value of which are determined annually at the Company’s discretion.
