Lab Technician – Entry Level

ResinTech, Inc., a global leader in ion exchange, is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our laboratory team. You will provide essential technical support to enable our operations to function effectively while strictly adhering to safety procedures.

You will perform routine testing analysis and quality control on resin samples and work under supervision to ensure resins meet specific performance, capacity, and physical standards.


Core responsibilities

  • Resin Testing & Analysis: Perform routine QC tests including moisture content, exchange capacity, bead integrity and particle size analysis. Produce reliable and precise data in a timely fashion to support plant operations.
  • Sample Preparation: Prepare reagents, solutions and resin samples for testing.
  • Equipment Maintenance & Calibration: Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment (e.g., column testing apparatus, titration equipment, pH meters).
  • Documentation & Data Recording: Maintain accurate daily logs, record test results, and input data into laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
  • Quality Control: Test manufacturing batches to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Laboratory Safety: Adhere strictly to safety procedures
  • Inventory Management: Monitor lab supplies and restock consumables.


Typical requirements

  • Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Biology or a related science field is preferred.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or laboratory setting.


Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of chemistry principles and laboratory techniques.
  • Attention to detail for accuracy in weighing and measuring.
  • Good math skills for data analysis.
  • Teamwork and communication skills.
  • Time management. Ability to multi-task.
