Job Description:
The Facility Technician B works under general supervision to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance using manufacturer publications, blueprints, schematics, and locally generated instructions. Responsibilities include following established work procedures; maintaining facilities, boiler systems, and production equipment; working on HVAC systems; and performing general maintenance tasks.

Essential Functions:
• HVAC maintenance, including troubleshooting and repairing plant HVAC equipment
• Performing preventive maintenance on equipment such as HVAC units, dehumidifiers, boiler systems, humidifiers, etc.
• Installing new HVAC and mechanical equipment
• Performing general 6S shop upkeep, including cleaning and organizing

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of relevant HVAC/industrial equipment maintenance experience, or an Associate’s Degree with 0–2 years of related experience
• Valid state-issued Driver’s License
• Ability to obtain a Freon recovery license within two (2) years of employment

Preferred Additional Skills:
• Knowledge of service and installation processes for industrial equipment
• Experience working with respirators, breathing air devices, and participation on fire/rescue teams
• Maintenance certification or technical training from a college or trade school
• Experience or training in Mechanical, HVAC, Boiler, and/or Electrical systems; state licensure in any of these areas is a plus
• Self‑starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
