Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Lead, Process Safety Manager (PSM)聽 to join our expanding facility in Camden, AR. You will be responsible for leading and managing our company's process safety initiatives and programs. Key duties include developing and implementing safety procedures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations.Ultimately, the PSM鈥檚 role is to ensure our workplace complies with all safety and health standards, and that our staff is sufficiently trained on safety procedures and protocols.聽

Essential Functions:

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experienced professional with proficient knowledge of job area and practical knowledge of project management.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Primary responsibility for conducting Process Hazard Analysis (PHA鈥檚) as well as being the engineering point person for explosive safety considerations.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Conduct analysis of processes for explosive safety, generate technical reports and present those in formal settings.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in the workplace.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Perform risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Lead incident investigations and develop reports outlining findings.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Facilitate safety training sessions for employees and managers.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Monitor the implementation of safety initiatives and programs.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide guidance and advice on technical and process safety issues.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure emergency response systems, policies and procedures are in place.

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Keep records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor鈥檚 degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant Manufacturing Engineer experience.聽 Graduate degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related Manufacturing Engineer experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related Manufacturing Engineer experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience as a Process Safety Manager (PSM) or similar role in a related field.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations.
  • Experience with conducting safety audits and inspections.
  • Expereince in conducting risk assessments and implementing preventative measures.
  • Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g. CSP, CIH).
  • Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.
  • Experience with writing policies and procedures for health and safety.
  • BSc/BA in safety management or relevant field.
