LifeStar Response is seeking an experienced and motivated Ambulance Base Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our Camden, Delaware location. This position is responsible for supporting field personnel, maintaining operational readiness, and developing strong relationships with the facilities and communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations, staffing, and performance of the Camden ambulance base.
  • Supervise and support EMTs, paramedics, drivers, and other assigned personnel.
  • Promote compliance with company policies, clinical standards, safety procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Monitor vehicle, equipment, and supply readiness.
  • Help recruit, onboard, train, and develop team members.
  • Address operational and personnel issues promptly and professionally.
  • FacilitateĀ exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with partner facilities.
  • Coordinate with dispatch, leadership, clinical personnel, and facility representatives.
  • Maintain accurate operational records and complete required reports.
  • Support continuous quality improvement and employee engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • CurrentĀ EMT or Paramedic certification required.
  • PreviousĀ management or supervisory experience required.
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company policy requirements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to provide exceptional service to patients, employees, facilities, and community partners.
  • Experience conducting or coordinating employee training is preferred.
  • Knowledge of ambulance operations, EMS regulations, and workplace safety practices is preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and respond to operational needs when required.
