Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol with Active Clearance in CAMDEN, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. This role requires an armed guard card or license and active DoD Secret Clearance. Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture.

Weekly Pay

Able to obtain and retain a secret clearance

Pay Rate: $21.12 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, and document visitor, vehicle, and incident activity in accordance with site policies.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and follow all applicable laws, post orders, and Allied Universal procedures while performing armed duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
