Job Description:

 

We are excited to announce an opening for a Sr. Associate Manufacturing Engineer specializing in Manufacturing Planning. We are looking for a candidate with a robust background in manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and optimizing our manufacturing operations. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our production processes are efficient, cost-effective, and meet industry standards.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing plans to meet production schedules and goals.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
  • Analyze production processes to identify and implement improvements for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
  • Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline processes and eliminate waste.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production teams, ensuring adherence to manufacturing plans.
  • Monitor and analyze production data to optimize resource allocation and workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

 

 Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related Engineer experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related Engineer experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related Engineer experience.
  • 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with exposure to manufacturing planning.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

 

  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing planning tools (e.g., ERP systems).
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
