Short Description

The Center for Healing within Cooper University Health Care is a leading Addiction Medicine provider within Camden County and Southern New Jersey. This role will support the work of the Center for Healing by supporting grant-funded programs with the goal of expanding access to evidence-based care and supports. Day to day activities include: •    Managing ongoing projects and new initiatives within the Center for Healing’s program portfolio of varying degrees of complexity from inception to successful completion.   •    Ensuring grant deliverables are met according to funder contracts. •    Working with stakeholders and community partners to enhance collaborative, successful delivery of services, and facilitate education, mentoring, collaboration, and networking. •    Working with data analyst to develop data collection processes and ensure the submission of timely and accurate reports to funding agencies.  •    Scheduling, coordinating, and facilitating trainings related to grant funded programs.  •    Tracking all grant related expenditures and monitoring the use of grant funds against the approved project budget. •    Identifying and sourcing potential grant revenue opportunities that match the goals of the Center for Healing.  •    Preparing grant applications and proposals for submission to government, foundation, and corporate entities.  •    Managing special projects including development of new projects.    •    Will lead work of their projects and may supervise staff working on specific grants within their portfolio.   The current projects focus on health and housing initiatives, overdose prevention, toxicosurveillance, low-barrier treatment for individuals who are unhoused, low-barrier Hep C treatment and HIV prevention, and complex pain. Experience in any or several of these areas preferred.  

The Project Manager provides leadership and operational oversight for grant-funded programs, ensuring effective implementation, stakeholder engagement, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, and achievement of program objectives. The role collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, community partners, funders, and organizational leadership to manage project activities, monitor performance, and support data-driven decision-making and reporting. The Project Manager supervises assigned staff and leads project teams to promote successful program outcomes and sustainable program growth.

Lead the planning, implementation, and ongoing management programs and initiatives, ensuring achievement of project goals, deliverables, timelines, and performance measures.Develop and maintain project plans, workflows, policies, and operational processes that support effective program execution, continuous improvement, and sustainability.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including leadership, staff, community partners, funders, and subject matter experts, to build strong working relationships and advance program objectives. Monitor program performance and compliance by coordinating data collection, tracking outcomes, preparing reports, and ensuring adherence to grant requirements, organizational policies, and regulatory standards.Plan, coordinate, and facilitate meetings, workgroups, training activities, and stakeholder engagements; communicate project status, risks, barriers, and recommendations to appropriate audiences.Oversee program budgets and grant-related expenditures in partnership with finance, grants management, and other administrative staff to ensure responsible stewardship of funding resources.Supervise assigned staff, consultants, interns, and/or project team members, including work assignment, performance coaching, professional development, and accountability for program outcomes. Lead special projects and other duties as assigned in support of departmental, organizational, and grant-funded priorities.
