Salary:
At EUSSD, compensation is determined through a comprehensive approach that considers candidate qualifications, role responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational needs. Pay may vary by location; for this position, with potential eligibility for bonuses or commission depending on the role.

About the Role:

Perform tests and/or measurement tasks for the Test Site department. Test Site: testing of energetics, component to system level. Typically live ammunition, warheads, rockets, flares, fuel tanks and pressure vessels. 

 CORE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Test Setup - Read specifications from technical documents (Test Standards, Customer SOWs, and Test Plans/Procedures), identify/prepare test equipment
  • Perform Testing - Monitor tests per specifications, interact with customers if needed, troubleshoot, and document all pertinent data
  • Data Processing - After test completion, verify, review and document all pertinent data. Finalize data and send to the Program Manager
  • Lab Maintenance / Post-Test Breakdown - Physically remove test items. Maintain lab by cleaning all equipment, keeping calibrated instruments current, & organizing supplies
  • Other - Perform other duties as assigned

CORE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Under General Supervision, can perform certain recurring work independently
  • Regular interaction with clients
  • Intermediate interpretation and analysis of test results
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Energetic & Mechanical principles, working knowledge of basic safety practices
  • Able to use all standard Energetic equipment; able to accurately capture necessary data; basic MS Office skills; able to understand AC/DC circuits

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • HS Diploma or GED; AA or AS OR trade school for Energetic testing certificate OR military Energetic training preferred
  • Minimum 2 Years of experience in testing


Physical Requirements: 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
