Job DetailsJob Location: NJ Camden - Camden, NJ 08104Salary Range: $22.00 - $25.00 HourlyJob Overview: The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for receiving, inputting, sorting, loading and unloading products and performing various warehouse activities, including working in environments that consist of exposure to a non climate-controlled warehouse environment with occasional exposure to outside weather conditions . Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Receives incoming inventory items, logs into warehouse system, and stocks inventory in the proper location. Fills customer orders Checks part numbers, cleans and packs inventory items, and loads them onto company vehicles for delivery. Inspects inventory for defects, scratches or other damage. Remedies and corrects deficiencies within scope, and notifies appropriate personnel for issues requiring escalated attention. Notifies Warehouse Supervisor of problems. Follows all company safety and accident procedures while on company premises or operating company vehicles or equipment. Process, package and ship orders accurately Organize stocks and maintain inventory Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments Reports any customer problems or concerns immediately. Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures Keep warehouse clean and organized daily Consistently displays integrity, responsibility, accountability, teamwork and ethics. Performs assigned job duties and responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures and standard practices. Performs other duties as assigned. Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent GED One (1) years of experience working in a warehouse setting and in operating warehouse equipment and machines including, without limitation, a forklift; Or An equivalent combination of education and experience Qualifications
