Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.  We are currently seeking a full-time Infection Control Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Crossroads Correctional Center located in Cameron, Missouri. The Infection Control Nurse (LPN) is responsible for performing a variety of duties involving the prevention and control of infectious diseases.  The Infection Control Nurse will coordinate the collecting, interpreting, and reporting of data, assist in the development of care plans for patients with infectious diseases, and will serve as a consultant to nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals regarding care, tracking, and reporting of patients identified with infectious disease. Qualifications Missouri or Compact Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required  Must be IV certified  Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred 1 to 3 years’ experience providing nursing care in a public health environment, long term care or acute care setting with focus on infection prevention and control Must show current tuberculosis screening documentation and active Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Experience working with a high degree of autonomy required Experience in correctional environment preferred Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check Available Shift: Days, 36 hours a week, Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm, Friday 4 hours and rotating weekends We offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including: Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance 401(k) with company match Generous paid time off Paid holidays Flexible Spending Account Continuing Education benefits Much more...
