Responsibilities:

FT position available, days, Monday - Friday

RN needed for busy OB-GYN office to perform a variety of tasks.  Primary duties will include telephone triage of patient phone calls and consulting with care providers, giving medications and injections as ordered, obtaining vital signs of patients, obtaining and recording medical, surgical and family histories, allergies and current medications, and documenting symptoms or concerns. Nurse performs point of care testing such as pregnancy testing, urinalysis, and catheterization as needed.  Assists with office procedures such as colposcopy, biopsy, sonography, etc. Responsible for chart review, office compliance with Joint Commission regulations, patient appointment scheduling and other general office duties as necessary.  Must be a team player, able to use electronic medical record and willing to be flexible.  Women’s health and ambulatory experience preferred.
