Position Summary
 
The General Foreman must have the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities assigned by his/her immediate supervisor; provide the necessary information, drawings, specifications, materials, tools and equipment needed for crew(s) to accomplish the work.
 
Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and scheduling; enforce safe practices and job safety programs
  • Monitor all paperwork for accuracy, clarity and completeness; analyze the work to find a more productive cost efficient method
  • Monitor performance and provide written evaluation, assistance and training to all assigned employees
  • Prepare employees for additional responsibilities; and keep the proper management informed of all significant information
  • Additional responsibilities not listed may be required
Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience
  • NCCER Certified Plus (Preferred)
  • Supervisory experience (Preferred)
