SAIC is currently seeking a Regional Joint Training & Exercise Campaign Analyst located at Camp Smith in Hawaii to support the USINDOPACOM J75 with Indo-Pacific expertise in development of the Joint Training and Exercise Campaign Plan along with associated exercise events. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:  

  • Ensure unified action within USINDOPACOM with supporting organizations to develop a Joint Training and Exercise Campaign Plan including Field Training Exercises (FTX), Command-Post Exercises (CPX), and training support operations, activities and investments.  
  • Support USINDOPACOM J75 and J73 by maintaining a deliberate plan of action with milestones in addition to production of required orders, briefings, and planning deliverables.
  • Contribute to solutions for complex problems and apply operational art in an uncertain geostrategic security environment to develop a training and exercise annex in support of the USINDOPACOM Campaign Plan.  
  • Develop, implement, and maintain efficient protocols, processes, and procedures in support of exercise planning events and senior leader engagements.
  • Support exercise work group planning meetings, theaters posture planning meetings, and theater engagement planning meetings.
  • Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) related to exercises and training events throughout the theater.
  • Produce exercise orders or directives to facilitate guidance for exercise planning.
  • International travel up to 30%25 of the year may be required to support the planning and coordination with allies and partners. 


REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  

  • Bachelors and six (6)+ years’ of relevant experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phase I complete; two (2) years of experience on a joint operational/strategic headquarters staff accepted in lieu of JPME Phase I.
  • Knowledge of the Joint Training Exercise and Evaluation Program (JTEEP), Joint Training System (JTS), and associated requirements to plan joint exercises.
  • Proven experience in an analyst role supporting projects with strict timelines.
  • Knowledge and experience working with allies and partners, including joint assignments at the operational/strategic level.

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:  

  • Must have an active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Must be a current US Citizen.
